Artist Vincent Bal converts normal shadows into pieces of art and he doesn’t make them anything dark but cute. This Belgian artist and filmmaker had always enjoyed drawing but last year he came up with something new that went more viral than he anticipated.

As per his own words, Vincent Bal said, ‘While I was working on a new script last April, I noticed how my teacup made a nice shadow on a piece of paper. I drew some lines on it and suddenly the shadow was an elephant.’ After that, he took a picture of the image and shared it on Facebook and it was shared and liked tons of times.

Since that day he has been posting a doodle each day. It ranged from shadows to simplest of objects as well. Here are some of his best shadow pieces.
