If you are still unaware of this then Snapchat is making sunglasses that have a camera inside them and are called Snapchat Spectacles. This device lets you take snaps of the world without even moving your face. They are being sold through strange pop-up vending machines called Snapbots and each spectacle costs $130.
The Snapbots are not placed everywhere, they are accompanied by security guards and are dropped off for just a few hours in random locations in the US. These spots are disclosed 12-24 hours before on spectacles.com/map. Once the bot is placed, its first come and first buy as each bot have the capacity of almost 200 pairs and there is no guarantee of restocking.
However, earlier this week, there was a pop-up store opened in New York City that has a single Snapbot and Snapchat said that this bot will be refilled throughout the holiday season.
If you are lucky then you may buy the Snapchat Spectacles on sale online if not you can always keep an eye out on its website to note when the next drop location would be. These glasses allow you to take 10 seconds long videos.
People just can’t get enough of the Snapchat Spectacles and they began posting awesome videos using the device on Twitter. Here are the best 9 Snapchat Spectacles videos on Twitter.
