Almost a year ago, Twitter disclosed that it is shutting down its Vine service, and January 17, 2017, marks the last day that users will be able to download all their Vines that they have created. The app will continue to work as an independent Camera app but for the Vines already created, you need to act fast and download them.
There are two ways you can download. Firstly and foremost is downloading via the app and the second is by downloading through the Vine website. Read on to learn both methods and apply as per your convenience.
How to download your Vines with the Vine app
To download via the app, click on the “Save Videos” options at the top of the app. Then you’ll be shown the gallery that contains all your videos. Tap on the videos you want to download or tap on “Select all.” After you tap on save, all selected videos will be downloaded to your device in MP4 format.
How to download your Vines from the Vine website
Open a web browser on your PC, go to the Vine website. On the website, you’ll see a blue button on the top-right corner that says “Download your Vines.” Click on it and then click on “Request Your Archive.” This will email a .zip file that will contain all yours Vine videos. This may be a large file if you have a lot of videos.
How to download your Vines from the Online Download Service
Apart from these, there are certain websites that download your Vines for you. All you need to do is copy the Vine’s URL on their site and click on download. The video will be downloaded as an MP4 format. Here are a few examples of such sites:

One other way of downloading videos is by simply right-clicking on the video and clicking on “Save As,” especially if you’re using Internet Explorer. This will save the video in the MP4 format.
